Meet Timothy

Territory: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Start Date: 07/2020

A little about me:

I am 28 years old, a son of immigrant parents from Kazakhstan. I speak Russian fluently. I’m quite introspective and love a good laugh. I’m a middle child with two sisters. I used to coach volleyball and still play. My celebrity crush would be Christopher Walken (feel free to poke fun at me on Telegram).

How did you get started?

One of my part-time side hustles before CharityRx was growing social media business accounts. I was working with this gal from Florida who was a friend of Eric’s. I knew she was in the discount card business in the years we worked together but had no idea what the industry was. She sent me a message one night at 10:30 PM saying she was looking to hire people in my area. I said I was interested, and a couple of minutes later, I was on a 3-way call with her and Eric. That was the start of my journey with CharityRx.

Roadblocks:

I came up with reasons that this CharityRx thing wouldn’t work for me when I started. I would try to analyze and understand all the numbers with each visit and psych myself out. Eric called it “analysis paralysis.”

Solution:

There wasn’t a particular moment or quote that helped dissipate all those fears instantly; rather, it was staying in a determined direction for a sustained period. With that grew confidence and belief that I could achieve the success I saw others attain.

What do you enjoy most about working for CharityRx?

Two things I appreciate most about being at CharityRx are having freedom and control of my schedule and time, working with all the different charities every single month, and all the people we show love to on our mission trips.

I was listening to a podcast where I heard Kobe Bryant share a quote he saw in a classroom growing up that stuck with me: “Rest at the end, not in the middle.”

What’s your best advice for reps?

  1. Set a goal every month visit-wise and share that goal with someone who can hold you accountable and encourage you in your goal. Set a goal that will push you through.
  2. Don’t feel like you have to have it all figured out before you start your visits. Allowing yourself to learn along the way will magnify your growth.
  3. Reach out to people in our company who have achieved the level of success you want and pick their brains about how they did it.

What’s the key to your success?

I had this fear growing up when it came to working that I wouldn’t be able to find a career that I would be passionate about and would love. CharityRx is the first place where I’ve experienced peace regarding this fear. Truly believing this is the place for me and the encouragement of our team here really helped my business blossom.
