My name is Ronald A Kellogg, Jr. I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. During my childhood years, I took a liking to basketball. When I became a teenager, I got very good at playing basketball. I could talk to you all day about basketball, but we don’t have that much time. What this sport has done for me has changed my life forever. It gave me the opportunity to earn a scholarship to play basketball for the University of Kansas, and the rest is history.
One day in late April, I was online searching for a job. I ran across the words, “CharityRx is looking to hire someone in Baton Rouge.” Before I filled out the application, I did some research on the company. I wanted to know what the company was all about. Let’s just say I’m so happy I received a call from a CharityRx representative. We set up an interview with John on May 5, 2023. When John showed me the way, I knew this was the opportunity of a lifetime. After spending time with John and talking to our CEO, Eric Beaumont, on the phone, I was convinced this was the job for me. All I could think of was opportunity and growth. I knew what I had to do from there, so I said to myself, “Nothing is going to stop me now!”
I deal with roadblocks and obstacles all the time, but I don’t let them get in my way; I put a stop to them right away. What helps me is having the confidence in myself to keep my dream alive. It may not be easy; life isn’t easy, but dreams can’t keep you alive. I refuse to let any roadblocks get in my way, even when driving to my pharmacy stores. I believe that nothing stops one who desires to achieve. Remember, every obstacle is simply an exercise to develop your achievement muscle.
I overcome problems that occur on the spur of the moment by saying to myself, “Make sure you are absolutely clear about who you are and what you stand for, and refuse to compromise.”
