Meet Matt

A little about me:

I grew up in Utah in a small town called Beaver. I have been married for almost 12 years to my beautiful wife, Kassie. We have two children together: Harper and Dre. I love being with my family and spending as much time with them as possible. I love to play sports and coach my children. I really enjoy helping people and believe it is my calling in life to serve others around me.

How did you get started?

I have been in the discount card business for 8-1/2 years. I have a deep love for talking to people and helping those who can’t afford medications. I was recruited by none other than our amazing CEO, Eric Beaumont. When he chose to start CharityRx, it was a no-brainer for me to follow him and help build this company.

Roadblocks:

If you can be consistent and believe in the true purpose of this company, the roadblocks and obstacles really don’t exist. I try to be as consistent as I can and do whatever it takes to be successful. Sometimes you have to do “just one more” visit or go out a little earlier or stay out later.

Solutions:

There were times when I just wanted to get back into my car and drive home. But I kept the thought in the back of my mind that if I was to forget my own wants and go to work, I could help another person in need.

What do you enjoy most about working for CharityRx?

There are so many different reasons I love my job. I love being able to see all the growth throughout the company. I feel that we are a sports team and that we are cheering on everyone to be successful. We have so many phenomenal people working, and that’s who I love rubbing shoulders with.

What’s your best advice for reps?

Be patient in the beginning. It is tough at first but just grind and work as hard as you can.
Be happy and friendly. Go into this with the attitude that you are making a difference in your community.
Invest in yourself and in the company. Educate yourself about what we do. Purchase materials that will benefit you while you are working.
